Early pranks is the second April Fools short of Thomas The Trackmaster Show.
Plot[]
The short starts off with Thomas, James, Henry and Percy at Tidmouth sheds and while Thomas, James and Henry were asleep, Percy was waiting for the clock to change from 11:59 to 12:00 but he fell asleep before the clock could change. But when he fell asleep the clock changed and the alarm went off and Thomas, James, Henry and Percy woke up. Percy then told everyone that April fools day has Started, Thomas and James told Percy that it was midnight. Thomas said it was like the time he was playing checkers with Whiff. Percy told his friends that he was planning to pull pranks at the right time. But James and Thomas said it was the wrong time and told his to go back to sleep. Percy said that he was to start playing pranks and James told Percy "Good Luck" in a sarcastic way then Percy left the sheds. Thomas and James left to stop Percy from doing pranks. Percy first played a prank on Whiff and shouted: "OH MY GOSH, WHIFF! THERE'S A MONSTER RIGHT BEHIND YOU!". Whiff screamed and Percy said: April Fools! Whiff said it was too early for him to wake up and it wasn't the time for pranks. But Percy told him that he was missing April Fools Day. Whiff told him to go back to his shed so he can sleep and wouldn't be tired pranks and Percy left. Percy then woke Emily up Emily said it early in the morning, Percy told her that Sir Topham Hatt wanted to pass a message. Emily went to Sir Topham Hatt's house and Sir Topham Hatt was asleep sucking his thumb. Emily woke him up and told him about a mall that was being built but Sir Topham Hatt didn't plan about a mall but it could be a great idea. Sir Topham Hatt told Emily to go back to sleep and Emily left. Sir Topham Hatt said "This is more crazy than the time I got locked in my office." Meanwhile James and Thomas planned a prank to play on Percy. While they were planning a prank Percy was looking for another engine to play a prank on. When Percy found James and Thomas he tried to prank them but Thomas shouted that there's a mean diesel coming to get them but will save him. Percy went another direction to find more engines to destroy the diesel. Henry thought that Percy was the Christmas Engine so he ran to find him. James put some cars on the track Percy was on and he crashed into them. When Henry arrived he saw that Percy wasn't the Christmas Engine. Sir Topham Hatt wondered what was going on James said that Percy was trying to play pranks. The Stationmaster showed Sir Topham Hatt what he caught on tape and he showed the clips of Percy playing pranks on Whiff and Emily. For what Percy did Thomas, James, Henry, Sir Topham Hatt and the Stationmaster were going to get him. Percy said that he won't do pranks so early again. Then everyone went to get Percy and he screamed as the short ended.
